Keeping children safe online is a top priority for us, because internet technology is developing and growing so fast that it poses real dangers to children.

As anyone would protect their child in the real world it's equally important to protect them in the virtual world.

There are two simple things you can do to make the internet safer for children:

1. Help children surf safely. We have put together some top tips for you.

2. Sign our internet safety petition - 13,000 supporters have already signed the petition but we need another 10,000 signatures to help influence the Government and industry to make the internet safer for children. Full petition text.

Internet safety is something everyone can do something about. Whatever you decide to do, thank you for all your support for children.
